Hazrat Noah (A.S), known as Prophet Nuh in Islam, is a significant figure in the Abrahamic religious traditions, including Islam. He is considered one of the major prophets and messengers in Islam, and his story is mentioned in the Quran, the holy book of Islam.

According to Islamic tradition, Prophet Nuh was sent by Allah to guide his people, who had deviated from the righteous path and were engaged in various forms of idolatry and sinful behavior. Nuh spent many years preaching to his people, urging them to worship only Allah and to abandon their sinful ways. However, despite his efforts, only a few people accepted his message, and the majority rejected him.

As a result of the widespread disobedience and rejection of his message, Allah instructed Prophet Nuh to build an ark. The ark was to be a means of salvation for those who believed in him and followed his guidance. The story of the flood and the ark is a well-known narrative in the Quran, similar to the biblical account of Noah's Ark in the Old Testament.

The flood eventually came, and the ark carried Prophet Nuh, along with those who believed in him and a pair of each kind of animal, to safety. After the floodwaters receded, Nuh and his followers were tasked with rebuilding civilization and spreading the message of monotheism.

Prophet Nuh's story serves as a moral and spiritual lesson in Islam, emphasizing the importance of faith, patience, and perseverance in the face of adversity. Muslims regard Prophet Nuh as a righteous and steadfast messenger who remained committed to his mission despite facing immense challenges and opposition from his own people.
